How does MyStudentTracking.com work?

Once you have created an account, (Check here to Sign up) the system creates your unique login and student registration pages. These pages are personalized to display your company's logos, address, phone number, and URL link back to your website. This allows you to link or integrate your website with MyStudentTracking.com making it appear as a seamless solution.

The teacher is able to setup a class schedule based upon sessions. (Quarters, semesters, etc.) Classes are added to sessions. Tuition can be assigned to each class.

Parent/Students register using the online registration pages. They input their own information and request classes they desire to take based upon the class selection setup when you configure the tool.

After the online registration period expires, the tool allows the teacher to create a class schedules based upon the demand. The teacher has total control of which students are placed in each class.

Each month an invoice is emailed out based upon dates that the teacher selects. Parents/Students can login and see their balance at any time. Online payments can be made at any time or scheduled to automatically pay the balance each month. Discounts and special class fees such as custume fees are handled by the system.

The system has an email feature that allows the teacher to email groups and personalize the email to include the parent's names, balance and other system data.

What hardware or software do I need to have to run MyStudentTracking.com?

MyStudentTracking.com is a website hosted at a secure Internet Data Center. You can use any computer with Internet access and a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Do I need a website to use MyStudentTracking.com?

No, Links to your unique MyStudentTracking.com login and registration pages can be:

• Placed on a blog
• Posted on a facebook account.
• etc.

If you don't have a website Spotlight Technologies LLC would be happy to create and host one for you. If you have an existing website we can host it for you for roughly $10 per month.

Is Credit Card Processing required to use MyStudentTracking.com?

How long does it take to implement the system?

Upon completion of the sign up process, your account will be ready to use. We have a User Guide that will walk you step by step thru the setup of the system. Our system is so simple that within a day or two you'll be off and running.

Our optional online payment option can take up to 10 business days to setup with our 3rd party providers.

What are the contract terms?

MyStudentTracking.com does not tie you into lengthy contracts. You can cancel at any time.

Is my data secure?

Yes, MyStudentTracking.com is committed to guarding your right to privacy.  We have a published privacy policy that we strictly adhere to as we demonstrate our commitment. We will not share your information or the information of any of your students. We are working to build long term relationships based upon trust and will do everything in our power to ensure that your information is secure.

Our system uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) as a first line of defense against online intruders. It is a protocol that transmits communications over the internet in an encrypted form. An SSL Certificate ensures that the information sent is unchanged and is sent to only to the intended server.

We use a trusted data center that only authorized personnel can enter. Systems are monitored 24/7 by internet specialists. The facility has over 150 permanently recording video cameras, are systems are on backup generators, all hardware is fail-safe with redundant backup systems. All data is backed up to a secondary secure location.

How can I access my data? Can I get a backup copy?

I already have my data in Excel, can I import it?

Yes. We want your business! We will import your data from ANY system that you are currently using. Our online support technicians will assist you with that along with any other issue that may arise during setup. Where do I start?  How do I sign up?

Start by filling out the information on Start Free Trial page. This wizard will guide you step by step thru a very simple process. Although not required you may want to have an electronic copy of your studio logo handy, it will ask for it during the setup process. This step can be skipped. During the process it will email you an activation link; make sure you provide an email address that is accessible.
